Privacy Policy

Spar is a practice tool for hard workplace conversations. You do not need an account, a name, or an email to use it. We store your practice transcripts and feedback so the app can show your progress. We do not run ads, and we do not sell your data.

Anonymous identity. When you first open Spar, we create a random anonymous ID for your device. We never ask for your name, email, or phone number.

Practice data. Transcripts of your practice conversations, the feedback (debrief) generated for them, custom scenarios you write, and your confidence check-ins. This is the data that powers your progress screen.

Purchase status. Whether your account has an active subscription. Payments are processed entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.

During a practice round, your microphone audio is streamed in real time to our AI provider (OpenAI) so the counterpart can hear and respond. We do not store audio recordings. What we keep is the text transcript of the conversation.

These providers process data on our behalf, only to run the app:

• Supabase — database and anonymous authentication
• OpenAI — real-time voice conversation and feedback generation
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Apple — payments and App Store services

We do not share your data with anyone else, and we do not sell it.

Practice data is kept so your progress and history keep working. Because your account is anonymous, deleting the app removes your access to that data. If you want your data deleted from our servers, email us before deleting the app and we will remove it.

Spar is built for working professionals and is not directed at children under 16.

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
